Modus Brands Sight Concern in big Launch
In sight of success and growth

Modus Creative in Worcester has created a new brand identity for Worcestershire Association for the Blind, being launched today as Sight Concern in Worcestershire.
The charity approached Modus Creative having seen other creative work the design team had done for companies around the region. The brief to Modus was to raise awareness of what Sight Concern Worcestershire does and the service and support they offer to those with visual impairments around the county.
Guy Marson is Modus’ Creative Director who headed up the creative team for this project. “There are 10,000 people on Worcestershire with some form of visual impairment yet the charity only has access to 2,500 of those. We needed to create a brand which would be eye-catching and bright in order to raise awareness of what Sight Concern Worcestershire does, and encourage those who know someone with this sort of impairment to point them in the direction of the charity for support and help.”
“Having held focus groups and conducted extensive research, we produced a series of creative concepts for the charity. Finally, the selection was narrowed down to an eye-based logo using bright, vibrant colours to illustrate the dynamic approach of the charity towards helping support those who need it. As well as thinking creatively, we also took a practical approach: raised letters will also form part of the brand going forward to assist those using the charity,” Guy adds.
Alice Watts is Fundraising and Publicity manager for Sight Concern Worcestershire who was instrumental is driving the new brand identity forward, who comments: “We’re delighted to have worked with Modus on this project. They have been excellent partners and really encapsulated in the new logo everything that the charity stands for. We couldn’t have hoped for more.”
The new brand identity is being rolled out across all the charity’s marketing material, including the new website which can be visited at www.sightconcern.co.uk
