Modus launch ‘flipping’ good postcard based website

Modus designed and launched an innovative new website for Sixways Events, the events, conference and banqueting arm of Sixways and the Worcester Warriors.

We have designed a clever and interesting way of presenting events to our Warrior’s fans, corporate sponsors and future events and conference customers.

The flash and HTML based website goes live this week and shows a desktop littered with postcards. These postcards show images of forthcoming events and can be moved around the desktop.

Click on a postcard and it flips over to show details of the event and you can click to download a booking form.

Also available on the site are details of the offering from Sixways 65 acre site, room plans and dimensions, downloadable brochures and menus for parties and events.

PRESS RELEASE FROM WORCESTER WARRIORS

The Sixways Events team have today launched a brand new website to showcase the vast array of events that you can get involved in at the home of Worcester Warriors and how Sixways Stadium is the ideal venue for your event.
The new interactive website - designed by Warriors official creative partner Modus - enables visitors to view information on all up and coming events here at Sixways, from Comedy Club nights to awards evenings, as well as ticket details for all forthcoming Warriors matches.

Extensive information about the various conferencing rooms and suites that we offer can also be found on the easy to use website, as well as information regarding the banqueting options available to our clients. Users can also download sample menus and brochures that provide further information.

The launch of the new website coincides with news from a conference-worcestershire survey that the county is holding up well against the national trend for falling conference and events bookings.

According to the survey, 50% of respondents revealed that they had seen a slight decrease in bookings compared to this time last year. However, nearly a quarter reported an increase, especially for repeat bookings and function events.

Emma Robinson, of conference-worcestershire, said “Worcestershire’s excellent transport links, attractiveness and sheer variety of venues, from national hotel chains to independent venues make it stand out from the crowd and hold it in good stead to ride out the storm.”
